Beatrice “Bea” Poteet, age 80 of Jonesville Virginia, was born Monday, March 2nd 1938 in Bell County Kentucky and passed away Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport Tennessee.

Beatrice had been a homemaker, loved crocheting, gardening, animals and had a very strong religious faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Poteet, parents Britt Daniels and Catherine “Cassie” Miser, sister Lillie Baumgardner, nieces and nephews Loretta Baumgardner, Sally Baumgardner and Eugene Baumgardner.

Beatrice is survived by her sister Margaret Hughes, nieces and nephews George “Joe” Baumgardner, Robert Baumgardner, Donnie Baumgardner, Charles Baumgardner, Michael Baumgardner, Terry Baumgardner, Eric Baumgardner, David Gibson, Mary “Kathy” Williams, Charlotte Kirk, Lynn Bellamy, Barbara Ashwood, Brenda Christian, Lynda Jackson, and Susie Baumgardner with many other family and friends.

Mrs. Poteet will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
