Bud Clifton age 62 of Mentor, OH was born Monday, December 21, 1953 and passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Murphy and father James Clifton, grandparents Mac and Lizzie Clifton of the Hagan Community and Cam and Mae Harber of Hubbard Springs.
Bud is survived by a brother Ron Clifton of Mentor, OH, a sister Tammy (Tom) Kingsley of Greenville, S.C., nieces Beth (Chris) Pribilski, Emily Urban and Sarah Kingsley, nephew Bill Clifton, a great-niece Anna, a great-nephew Alex, his uncle J.D. (Charlotte) Harber and his aunt Shirley (Kenneth) Muncy of Jonesville, VA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Clifton Cemetery in lower Hubbard Springs with Rev. Rex Harber officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:30 AM Saturday for the service.
