Dallas Woods

Dallas Woods age 71 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Saturday, October 6, 1945 in Dryden, VA and passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.  He had been a Veteran of the US Army and had retired as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by a son Scottie Woods, his parents Charlie and Roberta Woods, and two brothers Virgil Woods and Ray Shuler.
Dallas is survived by his wife Mary Woods of the home, two sons Dallas Woods, Jr. of Roanoke, VA and Hubert Christian of the home, three daughters Angie Ferguson of Roanoke, VA, Angela Station and husband, James of Kingsport, TN and Robin Tabor and husband, Gary of Pennington Gap, VA.  He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Mark Tabor officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Wallens Creek Cemetery in Stickleyville, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Monday until the time of the service.
