Debra Lynn (Dellinger) Pickett

Debra Lynn Pickett was born Debra Lynn Dellinger on February 23, 1957. "Debbie" passed this life to be with the Lord on August 14, 2015. Debbie was a lifelong resident of Coeburn, VA. She briefly a resident of the Kingston Center in Duffield, VA and previously at Golden Homestead in Coeburn, VA for about three years. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Roger Allen Pickett, her mother Myrtle Mae Ward and her brothers Roger Dale Dillenger and Earl Pettijohn all of Coeburn, VA. Debbie is survived by a daughter Susan Denise Greear of Wise, VA, brothers Rick Dillenger and wife, Judy of Midlothian, VA, Bobby Dellinger of Medina NY, Donald Dellinger of Medina, OH and sister Norma Hartman of Bellevue, OH. Debbie is also survived by her grandsons Sean Bright and Nicholas Greear, and granddaughters Andrea and Kayla Greear. Debbie loved going to church, praying and singing gospel songs. Some of her favorite hobbies were going to the Coeburn Library to read western novels, working puzzles, taking walks around town and visiting friends.

A memorial service for Debbie will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Coeburn Church of God with Rev. Tim Branson as Pastor. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to the Coeburn Church of God, 2nd Street, Coeburn, VA.
