I had the pleasure of working with Denise for a few months last year, and ever since then, when I would send her a work-related question by email, she would often call me with the answer-- she said she liked the camaraderie of the human voice. And she was right; I'd always be feeling uplifted by even these short phone calls. She had such a way with people. I hope that your family will see this trait of Denise's, carry on in present and future generations.

Like many others, I was connected to Denise from Facebook. My sister, Mary Theresa, and Denise were Facebook friends. They shared their love and appreciation of The Beach Boys. I would see Denise and my sister interact and with another Facebook friend, John Ruckman, who was particularly close to Denise and is now inconsolable. I had to have Denise as my Facebook friend, too. Denise made everyone happy and laugh, especially when she and John, who she called "my tormentor", would tease each other. We didn't know Denise was ill as she was private. We never met but felt a bond with her. Denise was an earth angel and now she's a heavenly angel. My prayers are with her family. God bless you.
