Edward Charles Woodard

Edward Charles Woodard age 64 of the Turners Siding Community in St. Charles, VA was born in Lee County on Tuesday, March 18, 1952 and passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home. He retired as a coal miner, was a member of the U.M.W.A District 7 and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Jeanette Woodard, granddaughter Jasmine Woodard, parents Elmer and Ethel Woodard and three brothers Ralph Woodard, Johnny Graves and James Woodard. Edward is survived by three sons Charles Woodard, Jimmy Woodard and Chris Woodard all of St. Charles, VA, grandchildren Marshall Woodard and Dustin Holman, two brothers Rondle Woodard of St. Charles, VA, Kenneth Woodard and wife, Judy of Rose Hill, VA, one sister Jo Ann Woodard Carver of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM on Monday, June 18, 2016 until tme of service  in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA.  Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM  With Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Province Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Pennington Memorial Cemetery on 421.
