Farris Wayne Seiber

Farris Wayne Seiber age 73 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Wednesday, May 26, 1943 in Lee County, VA and passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at his home. He was a Veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by a son Paul Seiber, grandson Jonathan Carson, parents Ottis and Hazel Seiber, two brothers Earl and Jerry Seiber. Farris is survived by his wife Brenda Seiber of Pennington Gap, VA, one son Scott Seiber and Glenda, two daughters Vicki Gibson and husband, Rick of Pennington Gap, VA and Julia Carter and husband, Jason of Rickman, TN.  He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister Shirley Johnson of Florida.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Military Rites will be conducted by local VFW Post and the Army National Guard Honors team.
