Francis Gosnell Sargent age 60, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN after a long illness. She was born in Harlan, KY and had lived in Stickleyville, VA for 21 years.She was preceded in death by her parents John and Myrtle Gosnell of Harlan, KY, a son David Edward Sargent of Virginia, brothers Charlie, Ernest, Robert and Carlyle, sisters Ruby Green, Jessie Cottrell and Gracie Laws.Left of mourn her passing; husband David, sons Jeff and wife, Shannon and Rodney Gosnell of Virginia, four grandchildren Lucas Sargent, Dwayne Gosnell, Robert Gosnell and Kayla Sargent. One great-grandchild also survives. Sisters Bobbie Alley and husband, Woodrow of Indiana, Thelma Roddy of Harlan, KY, Mary Ann Jessie and husband, Roger of Dayhoit, KY.Francis believed in the Baptist Faith and attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Woodway, VA.
