Glen Derry age 61 of Jonesville, VA was born Saturday, May 2, 1955 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at his home. He had been a resident of Lee County most of his life. Glen had been a farmer and loved to hunt and fish, he enjoyed talking had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents Walt and Ruby Derry, one brother Ralph Derry and three sisters Barbara Davis, Carol Derry and Rita Patti. Glen is survived by one brother Abraham Lincoln Johnson and wife, Hilda of Missouri, one sister Opal Martin and husband, Tony of Morristown, TN, special nephew and caregiver Billy Derry of Jonesville, VA and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time of services.
