Harold Dean Koebel Sr, age 72 of the Wagoner Town Community of St. Charles, VA was born in Michigan on Sunday, January 7, 1945 and passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Harold was a retired truck driver and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Edna Koebel. Harold is survived by his wife, Janie Koebel of the home; his son, Harold Dean Koebel Jr. of Michigan; His daughters, Roshonda O’Leary of Morganfield. KY and Tonya Koebel of Michigan; his step-daughter, Tammy Robertson and husband Derrick of Gate City, VA; his step-granddaughter, Jessica Robertson of Gate City, VA. He is also survived by his special nephew, Lewis Miller of the home and many, many friends.
The family will honor Harold’s wishes to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his home in St. Charles, VA with Rev. Tom Tackett officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Saturday until the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
