Jeanette Middleton

Jeanette Middleton age 88 of Woodway, VA was born Thursday, September 1, 1927 in Mendota, VA and passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. She attended the Mendota Baptist Church in Mendota, VA but last attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Woodway, VA after she came to Lee County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Charley H. Middleton, father and mother Bill & Erie Hobbs, one infant sister, sister Elna Kay and husband Muriel Anderson. Jeanette is survived by two sons Rick Middleton, Bill Middleton and wife Sherry all of Woodway, VA. She also leaves behind grandchildren Randy of Woodway, VA, Robin and husband Jeff Goode of Mt. Carmel, TN, Hannah Blevins of George Town, KY, Jamie and Tiara Middleton of Big Stone Gap, VA, Josh Middleton of Woodway, VA and Joey Middleton of Jelico,TN. Great-Grandchildren Meaghann Malone and husband John of Kingsport, TN, Lane Dodds, Michael Middleton, Gabe & Isabella Goode, Corbin Middleton and great-great grandson Layton Middleton.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap with Rusty Fitzpatrick and Tom Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Tuesday until time of service.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:00 PM Wednesday for the service.
