Linda Sue Bledsoe

Linda Sue Bledsoe, age 69 of Sugar Run Rd. Jonesville, VA was born in the Hubbard Springs Community of Jonesville, VA on Sunday, September 21, 1947 and passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. She had retired from the Lee County School Board where she served as the coordinator for the head start program. Linda attended the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Ledford and a sister, Doris Jean Spoone. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Bledsoe Sr. of the home; two sons, Floyd Bledsoe Jr. and John Bledsoe and wife Samantha, all of the Sugar Run Community of Jonesville, VA; six grandchildren, Brad, Kendra, Johnna, Raymond, Chloe and James and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Reagan and Mia; one brother, Bill Ledford and wife Ardella of Chenoa, IL. Also Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Emery Minton Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. Monday until time of services. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Bethel Cemetery on Sugar Run Rd. Family and friends are asked to meet at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
