Lloyd Marshall " Cotton" Sybert

Lloyd Marshall (Cotton) Sybert age 80 of Duffield, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Friday, November 5, 1937 and passed away in Kingsport, TN on Sunday, April 15, 2018. He attended the Stickleyville Baptist Church, enjoyed farming, gardening, cracking walnuts and socializing Cotton was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Virginia Sybert, one brother Roscoe Sybert, four sisters Ruth Sybert, Jewell Ann Sybert, Hattie Gernett and Nancy Woodard. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Ruby Sybert, daughters Virginia (Jenny) Best, Melissa (Lisa) Robbins and husband, Wayne, a son Randy Woodard and wife, Dianna. He is also survived by six grandchildren Matt Rash (Nikki), Eric Rash (Jackie), Stephanie Hass (Shane), Patric Fritz, Angelica Begley (Brandon), Husler Woodard (Megan), great-grandchildren Oliver Hass, Madison Rash, Candence Rash, Chad Hobbs, Jayden Shuler, Jace Shuler, Jarron Shuler, Odin Begley, Bentley Woodard, Anslee Woodard,  brothers Gene Sybert, Robert Sybert, David Sybert and sisters Ethel Abernathy, Betty Powell, special great-nieces Krista Collins and Aubrey Collins, special cousin Kirby Sybert (Shelly), eight sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, his beloved dog Cricket and many more nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Evangelist Garry Hood and Robert Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at the Bledsoe Cemetery on Middle Wallens Creek Road.
