I just found out about Chico passing today. I wanted to tell his family how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I was lucky enough to know Chico for a few years and had the awesome chance to train with him for quite a few of my fights he was awesome person and I awesome fighter this has really broke my heart I will miss him very badly. I will be keeping his family in my prayers.

Praying for all his family and friends. Chico was an amazing person and I don't know if he knew how much his kindness impacted my life. My son has Cerebal Palsy and one day at the Gym when he was 5 Chico walked in to work out and Riley ran up to him without knowing him and said I'm going to knock you out and Chico without a beat took right up with Riley I told Chico about Riley's arm and leg and instead of working out he worked with Riley. He took time away from his self to make my son feel good about himself Riley told him he couldn't hit good or kick good Chico said let's see and every time Riley would hit Chico would go down and Riley really thought he was beating him up. Chico you made my little boy feel so good about himself you gave him confidence that he could do anything and I'm forever grateful for that. Thank you Chico for being the guy you were with a heart of gold. You truly will be missed by all who knew you.

At this time I would like to offer my condolences to the friends and family of Matthew. It's tragic that a life so young parishes at any given time. Me and my wife reside in Tennessee and we've been on multiple shows with him. I can only say the world lost a bright light at the time of passing. But, through various videos he will be immortalized. Our hearts are heavy over here in Tennessee with your all's in his friends and family.
