Peggy Ann Ewing

Peggy Ann Ewing age 76 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Saturday, January 18, 1941 in the Cooney Hollow area of Jonesville, VA and passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ben Ewing; infant daughter Amanda Ewing; infant granddaughter Peggy Webb; parents Frankie and Bris Gilbert; sister Shirley Morefield; one brother, Glen Gilbert; niece Tammy Day; brothers-in-law Essie Young and Vern Morefield.

Peggy is survived by her daughters Mischelle Robbins and husband, Aaron of Jonesville, VA; Tabatha Webb and husband, Anthony of Pennington Gap, VA; Angela Ewing of Pennington Gap, VA; granddaughter Emma Ewing of Pennington Gap, VA; grandsons Jared Webb of Coeburn, VA and Ethan Webb of Pennington Gap, VA, step-grandson Chris Robbins and wife, Julie of Keokee,VA; step-granddaughter Stacy Gilliam of Big Stone Gap, VA; step great-grandsons Jordan Robbins of Big Stone Gap, VA and Isaiah Gilliam of Big Stone Gap, VA.  Peggy is also survived by her sisters Betty Young of Woodway, VA; Wilma Daniels and husband, Don of Woodway, VA and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Monday with Anthony Webb to speak. Burial will follow at the Kirk Cemetery in Pucketts Creek.
