Robert Bruce Olinger

Robert Bruce Olinger, age 51 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Harlan, KY on Sunday, November 21, 1965. He passed away peacefully at his home and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13 at 9:27 PM.  He was a devoted member of  First Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, VA and worked as a heavy equipment operator at Lone Mountain Processing in Saint Charles, VA. He was preceded in death by his mother Estelle, his father Ernest, his sister Pamela and several other treasured family members. He is survived by his loving wife Lori, his son Ethan, his daughter Morgan and husband Devin, his granddaughter Noelle, his sister Susie and husband Harold, brothers Danny and wife Margaret and Aubie and wife Reba and other family members and friends.  Robert fought a long and hard fight against cancer before his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called him home to rest and be free.

The family will be receiving visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 16 at First Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, VA with funeral service to follow with Pastor Josh Osteen to officiate.Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 17,2017 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden,VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at Province Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 17 to go to the cemetery for graveside services.
