Scott Barnett age 51 of the Jasper Community of Duffield, VA was born Sunday, December 26, 1965 in Dayton, OH and passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He was a member of the Jasper Baptist Church and a logger for the Moore Logging Company. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Carroll and Rose Mary Barnett. He survived by his brother Richard Barnett (Sheila Doan) of the Jasper Community, two sisters Connie Payne and husband, Tommy of Duffield, VA, Beth Mack and husband, Rob of Kingsport, TN, three nephews Quentin and Josh Payne, Joey Mack, one niece Carolyn Payne, two special aunts Francis Lawson and Peggy Sue Robinette.
