Stella Hinkle

Stella Hinkle age 97 of Jonesville, VA was born Thursday, November 18, 1920 in the Sandlick Community of St. Charles, VA and passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was a homemaker and attended the Admant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Buford Hinkle, infant children Bruce and Betty Hinkle and her parents Worley and Elizabeth Barnett. Stella is survived by four sons David Hinkle and wife, Allene of Dryden, VA, Paul Hinkle and wife, Tammy of Stickleyville, VA, John Hinkle and wife, Diane of Apache Junction, AZ, Tommy Hinkle of Ocoonita, VA, three daughters Alice Russell and husband, Jimmy of Travelers Rest, SC, Darlene Woliver and husband, Clyde of Lexington, NC, Delores Stapleton and husband, Joe of St. Charles, VA, twelve grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Monday until the time of the service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Roy Webb officiating.
