Ann Delph

Ann Delph age 67 of the Occoonita Community of Jonesville, VA was born Tuesday, May 13, 1952 in Keokee, VA and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. She was a babysitter, homemaker and was a lover of all animals. She also attended the Greater Outreach Church of God in Pennington Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Blanche Robbins, one sister Ina Sue Robbins, two nephews J.R. Ely and Freddie Robbins. Ann is survived by her husband of 48 years Charles Delph of the home, two sons Tracy Delph of the home, Aaron Delph and wife, Sarah of the Flatwoods Community, three grandchildren Luke Delph, Tessa Delph and Destiny Fleenor, one sister Gilda Ely and husband, Carl of Jonesville, VA, two brothers Hershell Robbins of Ewing, VA and Randall Robbins of Lewisburg, TN.

Have you ever met "that" person that would walk the extra mile so you wouldn't have to? Have you ever met "That" person who would give you the shirt off of their back? Have you ever met "that" Person that would call you to check on you everyday because they know you’re sick? Have you ever met "that" person that you could always count on, no matter the circumstances (even if it meant babysitting a couple of newborn squirrels)? Have you ever met "that" person who is so bubbly they seem to bee-bop here and there wherever they go? Have you ever met "that" person who has never known a stranger" Have you ever met "that" person that would go above and beyond to help anyone? We have, and "that" person is Ann Delph. She was so quirky, full of personality, and a little silly but absolutely adorable. Her untimely departure from this world was abrupt and we may not understand His ways, but we trust that He knows what He’s doing.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Greater Outreach Church of God. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Roy Webb officiating.
