Betty Jane King

Betty Jane King, age 82, born Monday, November 15, 1937 in St. Charles, VA and passed away  Monday, December 23, 2019 at Lee Health and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband James Ellis King; her parents Curtis Rowe and Ruby Depew; her brothers Kenneth and Winford Rowe.

Betty is survied by her son Ellis King and wife Kyong of Evans, GA; two grandchildren Jason King and wife Emilee of Knoxville, TN, Logan King of Evans, GA; one brother Willard Rowe of Pennington Gap, VA; her sisters Melverda Stoltz of Troy, OH, Claris Dean of Pennington Gap, VA, Jean Miles of Huston, TX, Alma Davis of Pennington Gap, VA, Joyce Dean of Pennington Gap, VA; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6-8 with funeral services following at 8 p.m. with Pastor Barron Duffy officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville, VA. Family and friends are ask to meet at the cemetery.
