Christy Michelle Parsons age 37 of Lee County, VA was born Wednesday, May 7, 1980 in Big Stone Gap, VA and passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Easley, SC. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her twin sons Dustin and Justin Wilder; a daughter, Baby Girl Parsons; her father Bobby Celis Galey, Jr.; a brother, Christopher Michael Clark Galey; her paternal grandfathers, Celis Bobby Galey and Wayne (Popeye) Stanley; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Della Barnette; her beloved dog Charlie. Christy is survived by her husband Claude Parsons, Jr. of Lee County, VA; two sons, Cory Wilder and wife, Emily of Dryden; Joey Wilder of Dryden, VA; one step-son Zach Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA; one daughter Nikki Wilder of Dryden, VA; one step-daughter Dee Gentry and husband, Matt of Kingsport, TN; two grandchildren Grayson Clark and Ella Gentry of Kingsport, TN; her mother and step-father Debbie and Jon Woodard of Dryden, VA; one brother Bobby Wayne Galey and wife, Tiffany of Jonesville, VA; one sister, who was the apple of her eye, Ashley Galey of Pennington Gap, VA; paternal grandmother, Jo Stanley of Jonesville, VA; the father of her children, Dana Wilder of Duffield, VA; one "adopted daughter", Sierra Villanueva from Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins, three special friends Sandy Allen, Wendy Moore, Sherry Lynn Harmon, a host of many other friends and her beloved dog Little Bit.

A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Allen Collier officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Monday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Ingle Cemetery in the Hagan Community of Jonesville, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday to go to the cemetery.
