Darrell Wayne Hundley

Darrell Wayne Hundley of Church Hill, TN was born in Bonny Blue, VA on Tuesday, May 31, 1949. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, April 21, 2018. He retired from Quebecor in Hawkins County, Tn and was of the Baptist Faith. Darrell loved working on cars, music and playing the guitar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his father William David Hundley and his mother Flora Estell (Baker) Hundley. Darrell is survived by his wife Peggy Hundley of the home, one son Darrell Wayne Hundley, Jr. of Ohio, one daughter Lucinda Brummitt and husband, Steve of Virginia, step-children Chad Arnold and Frances of Tennessee and Jason Arnold of Tennessee. He is also survived by his grandchildren Amanda Marcum and husband, Cletus, Kirsten Flanary, Nathan Bloomer, Noah Bloomer and Berlyn Hundley, step-grandchildren Justin Arnold, Amber Arnold, Kassidy Arnold and Hunter Arnold, great-grandchildren Annabell Arnold, Zoey Arnold, one sister Scarlett Morrison and husband, Robert of Michigan, two nephews Tim and Mark Morrison; and his special companion, his dog Bentley.

A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Arvil Dean officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Bethel Cemetery on Sugar Run in Jonesville, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 noon Thursday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
