Dossie “Joyce” Williams age 64 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Monday, August 25, 1952 in the Harber’s Chapel Community of Pennington Gap and passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lillie Mae Gibson and one daughter Ocie Gibson. She is survived by three sons Tony Gibson of Dryden, VA, Lee Collins and wife, Sherry of Big Stone Gap, VA, Chris Collins and wife, Trish of Pennington Gap, VA, five daughters Wanda Woodard and husband, Chad Woodard of the Flatwoods Community, Melissa Collins of St. Charles, VA, Judy Roberts of Pennington Gap, VA, Debbie Reece and husband, Jamie Haynes of Pennington Gap, VA and Angel Lawson and husband, Elmo Lawson of Woodway, VA, twelve grandchildren Kaylee, Natasha, Sabrina, Jamie, Cory, Salisha, Joe, Destiny, Jessee, D.J., Karcey and Karl, four great-grandchildren Trinity, Zack, Lilly and Andrew, two brothers Tommy Gibson and wife, Darlene of Jonesville, VA and Wayne Gibson and wife, Tina of Stickleyville, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Burchett Cemetery in the Flatwoods Community with Richard Stewart officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 PM Wednesday for the service.
