Geneva McCormick

Geneva McCormick age 89 of Ewing, VA was born Sunday, January 22, 1928 in Rose Hill, VA and passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home. She had worked as a cook for Inland Steel Company and was a member of the Old Arthur Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward McCormick and parents Bethl and Hattie Blanton. Geneva is survived by her son Billy Ray Campbell of Ewing, VA, four daughters Joyce Smith and husband, Michael of Martinsville, IN, Roseanna Campbell of Richmond, VA, Brenda Wolfe of Paoli, IN and Patricia Manship of Marngo, IN, William Edds of Maryland, 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Old Arthur Pentecostal Church in Rose Hill, VA with Charles Long officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Campbell Cemetery on Giles Hollow Rd. in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA at 1:00 PM Sunday to go to the cemetery.
