Greg Anderkin age 55 of Dryden, VA was born in Norton, VA on Friday, December 15, 1961 and passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA. He was of the Baptist Belief.He was preceded in death by his parents Billy and Mable Anderkin, brothers Bill Anderkin, Jr. and Terry Anderkin. Greg is survived by his sons Shawn Anderkin and wife, Amanda of Dryden, VA and Steven Lovell of Dayton, OH, a daughter Shirley Fields and husband, Tim of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Shawn and Devon Anderkin, Adrianna and Brooke Layman, Jack Fields, Steven, Michael and Dalton Lovell, one brother Jeff Anderkin and wife, Tina of Sneedville, TN, one sister Joan Morgan of Mooresburg, TN and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Jim Parsons. officiating.
