Gregory Gene Cooper, age 51, of Maryville, TN and formally of Ben Hur, VA passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Gregory is preceded in death by his mother Pauline Asberry Coomer, one brother Thomas Bruce Cooper, one cousin Donald Smith. He is survived by two sisters, Sally Morrison and husband Doug of Maryville, TN and Helen Roberts Flanary of Pennington Gap, VA; one brother, Kenneth Coomer and wife Terisa of Big Stone Gap, VA; one sister-in-law, Lisa Coomer of Pennington Gap, VA and her daughters Jessica and husband Jason Hensley of Dryden, VA, Jelisa Coomer of Pennington Gap, VA and Jatesia Coomer & fiance Eric Cain of Dryden VA; niece Amanda Fabel and husband Mike of Maryville, TN; nephews Jeff Smith and wife Jenny of Cawood, KY, Chris Smith and wife Jaunita of Maryville, TN , Brian Coomer and wife Amber of Pennington Gap, VA, Travis Coomer and wife Christina of Woodway, VA and many more cousins, nieces and nephews.
