Joann Bledsoe

Joann Bledsoe age 75 of Jonesville, VA was born Tuesday, January 5, 1943 in St. Charles, VA and passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Bledsoe, parents Orbin and Anna Lee (Bledsoe) Clark, two brothers Bob and JP Clark. Joann is survived by two sons Elbert Bledsoe and wife, Cheryl of Dryden, VA, Grant "Joe Bud" Bledsoe and wife, Rose of Jonesville, VA., two grandchildren Samantha Lawson and husband, Charles of Pennington Gap, VA, Susan Bledsoe of Jonesville, VA and one great-granddaughter Christian Lawson. She is also survived by three brothers Jack Clark and wife, Jan of Jonesville, VA, Sam Clark and wife, Lois of Kingsport, TN, Jim Clark and wife, Stella of Woodway, VA, one sister Wanda Kay Garrett and husband, Frank of Woodway, VA and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Jack Clark and Brother Bud Eldridge officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Bledsoe Family Cemetery in the Campground Road Community of Jonesville, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Thursday to go to the cemetery.
