Lee David Lipps

Lee David Lipps age 34 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on Friday, November 11, 1983 and passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.  He was preceded in death by his father Carl Lipps, foster dad Chuck Rowles and a brother Ernest Jack Lipps. Lee is survived by his wife Latashia Carson of the home, mother Donna Sternberg of Pennington Gap, VA and foster mom Kathy Rowles of Pennington Gap, VA, two brothers Gary Lynn Lipps of Stickleyville, VA, Bobby Herron and wife, Lilly of Johnson City, TN, three sisters Della Beard, Sharon Lipps, Pamela Lakeman and husband, Donald all of Pennington Gap, VA, nephews Chad Shirks, Brandon Herron, Bradley Curtis and Corey; two nieces Nevaeh and Arianna, two special aunts Della Beard, Sandra Kay Stoker, uncle Bobby Beard, other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday with Rev. Bob Richards officiating. Burial will follow at the Rowles Family Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA.
