Mary Harless

Mary Harless, age 60, of Pennington Gap, VA was born Saturday, July 9, 1959 in Duffield, VA and passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents Milo and Hazel Bowen; a sister, Linda Bowen; grandparents Mark and Addie Bowen and Macie Thomlinson. She is survived by her husband Jackson (Jackie) Harless of Pennington Gap, VA; two sons Jackson (Junebug) Harless, Jr. of Pennington Gap, VA, Ronnie Harless of Pennington Gap, VA; one daughter Melissa Harless of Woodway, VA; one grandson Hunter Harless of Pennington Gap, VA; four sisters Kathleen Bledsoe and husband Mike of Duffield, VA, Betty Sue Ramey and husband Radford of Duffield, VA; Lula Mae Harless and husband Gary of Stickleyville, VA and Pauline Hass and husband Shirell of Rye Cove, VA; three brothers Millard Bowen of Duffield, VA, Billy Bowen and wife Bambi of Rye Cove, VA, Lester Bowen and wife Suzy of Woodway, VA; special friends Lisa Harris and Shirley Hopkins.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2019, from 12-2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
