Mary Helen Roberts

Mary Helen Roberts age 77 of Ben Hur, VA was born Tuesday, November 5, 1940 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed watching NASCAR and Family Fued. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Roberts, parents Retha and Alfred Spivey, children Carolyn Ashley and Daniel Roberts, grandson Daniel Roberts, brother T.J. Spivey and wife, Bobbie, sister-in-law Patricia Spivey and son-in-law Lenny Gilliam. She is survived by her children Patricia Roberts of the home, Theresa Dean and husband, Floyd Baker of Jonesville, VA, Ricky Roberts and wife, Tammy of Dryden, VA and Belinda Gilliam of Appalachia, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, her fur baby Mercedes (Sadie), a brother Glen Spivey and wife, Polly of Ben Hur, VA and five nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Dr. Charles Barrier officiating.
