Michael Clayton Baird age 38 of Woodway, VA was born Saturday, July 14, 1979 in Big Stone Gap, VA and passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Sue Baird, grandparents Mae and Curtis Pleasant, grandfather Fred Jessee and his uncle Donnie Baird. Michael is survived by his wife Ann Baird of the home, his mother and step-father Brenda and Billy Hicks of Woodway, VA, one sister Tasha Renee Baird and fiancé, Dewayne Bradley of Indiana, one uncle Logan Baird of Bristol, VA, grandfather Clayton Baird of Woodway, VA and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 800 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday with Rev. Eugene Mooneyhan officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Red Hill Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA . Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
