Ralph Robbins Obituary

Ralph Robbins age 89 of Lee County, Virginia passed away November 21, 2019 at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial in Fremont, MI. He was born January 9, 1930 in Keokee, VA the son of James and Dora (Carroll) Robbins. During his working years he worked for General Motors for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing, Snowmobiling, working on mowers and tractors.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Carroll) Robbins, parents, a son Ralph Jr, eight brothers and sisters, and a special friend Sally Owens.

Surviving are his children Judy (J.C.) Woodard of Woodway, VA; Porcha (Kenneth) Jackson of Telford, TN; Ben (Nancy) Robbins of Howard City, MI; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandkids; one sister Ruth Jones of Lyman, SC; brothers Charles Robbins of Austin, IN and Gene Robbins of Woodway, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12 -2 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
