Randy Lynn Surber Sr.

Randy Lynn Surber, Sr. age 62 of Jonesville, VA was born Thursday, March 29, 1956 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away at his home on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was a retired Maintenance Crew Member for the Virginia Department of Transportation, Dryden, VA. Randy was a Christian, honored to worship and serve with the congregation of Friendship Baptist Church, Jonesville, VA, for the last 17 years. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Surber. Randy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Leigh Ann (Eagle) Surber of the home, son Randy Surber, Jr. (Angie) of Grundy, VA, Daughter Katelyn Surber Reasor of Jonesville, VA, son Joshua Surber (Kenisha) of Jonesville, VA, daughter Eryn Surber of the home, and his mother Ruth Surber of Pennington Gap, VA. He is also survived by one brother, Doug Surber (Jan) of Miamisburg, OH, two sisters, Vicki Ward (Jerry) of Stickleyville, VA, and Tracy Hughes (Mark) of Pennington Gap, VA, grandsons Wyatt Surber and Preston Reasor and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Friendship Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA with Doug Odle, Fred Cagle and Doug Clem officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM Saturday until the memorial service.
