Robert Fred "Buddy" Burchell

Robert Fred "Buddy" Burchell age 77 of Dryden, VA was born on Friday, August 22, 1941 in Mabe, VA and passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Lee Health and Rehab and Nursing in Pennington Gap, VA. He was a member of Burkes Union Baptist Church in Blackwater, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Fred Burchell and Bess Burchell.

He is survived by three daughters: Freda Hill (Rodney), Christy Lee (Dale) of Rose Hill, VA, Angie Deel (Ron) of Coeburn, VA and one son: Emmanuel Burchell of Blackwater, VA.

Seven grandchildren: Eric Hill (Ashley), Jonathan Hill (Jenna), Bradley Fee (Whitney), Trevor Fee (Rachel), Tasha Fee (Michael), Kimberly Lee, and Kamryn Lee. Five great-grandchildren: Easton Hill, Abel Hill, Brayden Hill, Rendall Hill and Alec Fee, one brother: Garland "Pap" Burchell (Ann) of Big Stone Gap, VA, sisters: Eva Kelly (Sam) of Mason, OH, Ella Mae Green (Jack) of Homer, LA.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with T.J. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Glencoe Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA. Pall Bearers are: Emmanuel Burchell, Bradley Fee, Trevor Fee, Eric Hill, Jonathan Hill, and Michael Mullins.
