Ruby Rachel Seals

Ruby Rachel Seals of St Charles VA was born on January 23, 1923 in Paint Creek, KY to Debbie West Parks and Fallas Parks. During WWII, she moved to Detroit MI and worked on an assembly line making airplane parts. She was a member of the St Charles First Baptist Church since October 5, 1952. She entered the gates of Heaven at 3:42 p.m. on Sunday February 24, 2019 at the age of 96 years and one month. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Willard G Seals on December 7, 1957. She joins in Heaven 6 sisters Ethel, Rose, Stella, Inus, Vene and Dessie and 2 brothers Lee and Luther. Also her little dogs Shang, Foxy I and Foxy II.

She is survived by one sister Frankie Hester Keaton of Springfield Ohio. She is also survived by 4 sons Will & Kathy Seals of Bluffton IN, Lee & Freda Seals of St Charles VA, David & Theda Seals of Jonesville VA and Billy & Pam Seals of Woodway VA. Her 2 daughters Brenda Ridings of Pennington Gap VA and Judy & Mike Robbins of Robbins Chapel VA. She also has twelve grandchildren Shawn & Jennifer Seals of Indianapolis IN, Stacey & Tim Belcher of Pennington Gap VA, Tina & Mark Witt of St Charles VA, Anthony Seals of Jonesville VA, Mike & Misty Seals of Jonesville VA, Cammie & JJ Ball of Dryden VA, Shanda and CJ Hutton of Marion VA, Shellie Simpson of Dryden VA, Sherrie & Jason Hurlock of Pennington Gap VA, Shane & Sara Woodard of Jonesville VA, Cody Robbins & companion Eden of Jonesville VA and Brandon Seals of Woodway VA. Also 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Paul Davis for his faithful visits and also her caretakers at Lee Nursing Amy, Misty, Shelia, Jo and Hannah.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to the Adult Sunday School Class at St Charles First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday February 25th at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap VA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm with Paul Davis, Jr officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens.
