Thelma Louise Bledsoe

Thelma Louise Bledsoe, age 83 of Woodway, VA was born in Keokee, VA on Thursday, November 1, 1934 and passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Thelma was a homemaker that loved working in her flower gardens and was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Ray “Buster” Bledsoe; her parents, Henry and Dora Mae Vanover Herron; two sisters, Elsie Gibson and Rosa Gibson and two brothers, Dallas James and Joseph Gibson. Thelma is survived by one son, Jesse Lee Bledsoe and wife, Alisha of Pennington Gap, VA; two sisters, Nervie Lee and husband, Buddy of Columbus, IN and Lois Collins and husband, Kermit of Norton, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Pastor Wally Berry officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until time of services Monday. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Lee memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
