Vivian Moore Johnson

Vivian Moore Johnson age 80 of Rose Hill, VA was born in Hancock County, TN on Saturday, November 12, 1938 and passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by one grandchild Shasta Barnette, one son Ernie Kyle Johnson and a brother Raymond Moore. Vivian is survived by one son Billy Johnson and wife, Sonya of Rose Hill, VA, three daughters Laverne Dean of Rose Hill, VA, Becky Barnette of Pennington Gap, VA, Shelby Dye and husband, Wayne of Pennington Gap, VA, ten grandchildren Brittany, Jordan, Kylie, Johnathan, Michael, Daniel, Josh, Amos, Jonah and Sarah, two great-grandchildren Levi and Emersyn Mae, and one sister Hester James and one brother Elzie Moore.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Dr. Charles Barrier officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Balls Chapel Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 AM Saturday to go to the cemetery.
