Walter Junior Disney, age 72 of the Rock lick Community of Keokee, VA was born Monday, November 5, 1945 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at his home in Keokee, VA. He retired after 14 years working in the coal mines, was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and had served during Vietnam, he was also a member and Deacon of the Eastern Sunrise Church of Keokee, VA and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Carl and Mary Jane Disney, sisters Barbara Robinette, Phyllis Bryant, Melba Lou Means, Wanda Disney Anders and an infant sister Marie Disney, brothers Carl Flanigan an infant brother Daniel Disney and a grandson Corey Quillen. Walter is survived by his wife of 50 years Phyllis Disney of the home, one daughter Sheila Quillen and husband, Mack of Woodway, VA, two sons Walter P. Disney and wife, Jamie of Batavia, OH, Kenneth Disney and wife, Tina of Keokee, VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan Disney and wife, Tiffany, Savana Disney and Santana Disney all of Batavia, OH, Rebecca Coomer and husband, Daniel of Ocoonita, VA, Dustin Disney and Aaron Disney both of Keokee, VA, Kandace Quillen and Seth Quillen both of Woodway, VA, Brittney Hileman and Austin Stapleton, great-grandchildren Alison Coomer, Daniel (Little D) Coomer, Kristian Bruce, Parker Hileman and Landon Mason, sisters Betty Asbury of Winchester, KY, Patricia Kelly of Winchester, KY, Elsie Clark and husband, Larry of Pennington Gap, VA, one aunt Lula Johnson, one uncle Kenneth Flanigan, two special cousins Shirley and Wilma and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday with Rev. Leonard Lane and Pastor Stan Tate officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Monday to go to the cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by local VFW Post and the Army National Guard Honors Team. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Odd Fellows Cemetery for the upkeep of the cemetery.
