Wayne Bledsoe, age 86 of Jonesville, VA was born Wednesday, November 25, 1931 in Jonesville, VA and passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He had been a long time resident and well known carpenter in Lee County and was of the Christian faith. Wayne was a tobacco farmer and enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Sarepta Bledsoe; three brothers, Ronnie, Donnie and keith and one sister, Dorris Norrod; Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Gloria Bledsoe of the home; two daughters, Sandra Paschall and husband Terry of Rougmont, NC and Sharon Toups and husband Blaz of Elizabethton, TN; one brother, James Neil Bledsoe and wife Jackie of Bethlehem, GA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At Wayne’s request, the will be no funeral service. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Cooney Family Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.
