Barbara Jean Mullins

Barbara Jean Mullins age 81 of Pennington Gap, VA was born December 17, 1939 in Pennington Gap and passed away September 16, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN, she was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry “Bud” Mullins, parents George and Beulah Patrick, one brother Michael Patrick and two sisters Judy Corbin and Brenda Fields. Barbara Jean is survived by two sons James “Gregory” Mullins and wife, Sandi of Kingsport, TN, Shaun Mullins and wife, Frances of Pennington Gap, VA, one daughter Susie Peters and husband, Rusty of Wise, VA, four grandchildren Jeremy Mullins, Emilie Mullins, Justin Peters and Derek Peters, two great-grandchildren Caleb Peters and Kylah Peters.  She is also survived by one brother Garland Patrick and wife, Karen of Long Island, NY, two sisters Joanne Phillips of Noblesville, IN and Gail Patrick of Miamisburg, OH.

There will be a private visitation and funeral. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
