Betty Cleusman

Betty Cleusman, age 79, of Pennington Gap, VA was born Tuesday, August 6, 1940 in Harlan, KY and passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 in Big Stone Gap, VA. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and wonderful homemaker. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Hobert and Mary Daniel; four brothers Hamp Daniel, Arthur Daniel, Kenneth Daniel and Pierce Daniel; her sisters Cora Loflen, Viney Miller, Delores Miles and Annie Marcum.

Betty is survived by one son George Alan Cleusman and wife Lynn of Hinesville, GA; two daughters Sheila Cleusman of Wise, VA, Sharon Akers and husband Tom of Vinton, VA; two brothers Donald Daniel and wife Wilma of Sticklyville, VA and Mark Daniels of New Lebanon, OH; two sisters Lena Collins of Pennington Gap, VA and Grace Smith of Baltimore, MD.

Visitation for Betty will be from 5:00—7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Pastor Paul Davis Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Daniel Family Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. for graveside services.
