Betty Lou Minton age 84 of Big Stone Gap, VA was born Thursday, July 5, 1934 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Heritage Hall in Wise, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband William Author "Johnny" Minton, parents Sam and Ethel Slagle. Betty is survived by two daughters Vickie Minton of Dayton, OH, Jessica Strouth and husband, Otis of St. Paul, VA, one grandson Dillon Cridlin of St. Paul, VA.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A graveside service will follow at the Halls Cemetery in Jonesville, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. to officiate .
