Betty Jean Young

Betty Jean Young, age 80, of Ewing, VA, entered into her eternal rest March 28, 2020 at Lee Health and Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. Betty was born in Middlesboro,  KY, and was the daughter to the late James and Roxie L. Wilson. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Caylor, VA. Betty loved to garden, plant flowers, and spend time browsing yard sales and flea markets.

Betty is proceeded in death by her son Floyd Dewayne “Radar” Young; her husband Sewell Fuson Young; her parents James and Roxie Wilson; her brothers Jerry Dewayne Wilson, James H. Wilson, and Eugene Wilson.

Betty Is Survived by her daughter, Barbara Louise Seals of Morristown, TN. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Ann Warner of   Milborne, FL; former son-in-law Sammy Metcalf; nephews Michael Warner and Daniel Warner; many close friends in the community - David and Bo Seals and family of Caylor, VA, Brian and Jackie Hollandsworth and family of Rose Hill, VA, Jack Hollandsworth of Caylor, VA, Sheila and Jimmy Mitchell of Caylor, VA and many more. She also had many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed, but can finally rest in peace from the suffering on the end of her life. Her wish is to be cremated and have her ashes spread at her final resting place.
