Carlos Wayne McGeorge

Carlos Wayne McGeorge age 62 of Woodway, VA was born Wednesday, December 12, 1956 in Lee County, VA and passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He had been a market manager at Price-Less Foods and had worked for Piggly Wiggly, Food City and Whites Food. Carlos was of the Baptist Faith and attended various churches in the area, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, animals, playing basketball and spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother Christine McGeorge, grandmother Pearl Burgan and his aunt Lavern McGeorge. Carlos is survived by his wife Kathy McGeorge of Appalachia, VA, one son Michael Fengari of Appalachia, VA, two daughters Christina McGeorge and husband, Martin Vega of Dryden, VA and Ashley McGeorge and husband, Uriel Salas of Dryden, VA. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Shaylee McGeorge, Gabriel Vega, Ariana Vega, Julio Salas and Victor Salas, one brother Kerry Galloway and wife, Lora of Pennington Gap, VA, one sister Tonya Galloway of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday with Earnest Bledsoe officiating.
