Carolyn Joyce Copeland

Carolyn Joyce Copeland age 68 of Jonesville, VA was born May 12, 1954 in St. Charles, VA and passed away at her home on November 14, 2022.

She had worked as office manager for 25 years at Lee County Animal Hospital before retiring. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Ann Copeland, mother Ruby Lane, father Ishmeal Hilton, and brother Brian Hilton. Carolyn is survived by her husband Alvin Copeland of the home, daughter Tamela Collins and husband, Jeff of Rose Hill, VA, son Bruce Copeland and wife, Kellie of Pennington Gap, VA, four grandchildren Hunter Collins, Aiden Copeland, Addison Copeland, and Anna Belle Copeland. She is also survived by  two brothers Roy Lane, Jr. of Pennington Gap, VA, Michael Lane and wife, Misty of Jonesville, VA, two sisters Elizabeth Spurlock and husband, Harold of Rose Hill, VA, Debbie Spurlock of Chatsworth, GA, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday with Dr. Charles Barrier and Larry Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Pall Bearers will be Bruce Copeland, Jeff Collins, Hunter Collins, Aiden Copeland, Jeff Copeland, Mike Lane and Matthew Marcum.
