Charles Nickodam

Charles Nickodam, age 73, of Chesterfield, VA was born in St. Charles, VA on December 16, 1946 and passed away July 14, 2020 at home under James River Hospice Care in Chesterfield, VA. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents John and Hattie Nickodam, a great-grandchild Abigal Marie Robinson,  brothers Johnnie, Walter, Mikey and Jack Nickodam, and one sister Annie Denton.

Charles is survived by his wife, Frances Adams Nickodam of the home; two daughters Angela Gail Hopper and husband, James Donald, Jr. of Mesquite, NV and Amanda Nicole Nickodam of Sutherland, VA; grandchildren Katie Hopper Robinson and husband Dustin Matthew, James Donald Hopper III and wife, Stephanie Leona; great-grandchildren Anna Caroline Hopper, Arabella Rose Robinson, Dustin Matthew Robinson, Jr. and  Olivia May Hopper. He is also survived by four sisters Bertha Hicks of Lebanon, OH, Helen Reasor and husband Frank of Dryden, VA, Mary Thompson and husband Dewey, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Cindy Thomas and husband, Sam of  Woodway, VA; a brother Joe Nickodam and wife Jackie of Burleson, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

A Military graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 20, 2020 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Monday.
