Clarence Langton Garrett, Jr. age 60 of the Red Fletcher Road Community in Jonesville, VA was born Sunday, December 22, 1957 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He was of the Baptist Faith, had been a mechanic of over 40 years and automobiles and motorcycles were his specialty. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Langton Garrett, Sr., and a brother Sheldon Chance. He is survived by his mother Hettie Napier Sebastian of Michigan, his wife Melisa (Bozo) Garrett of the home, one daughter Nakeisha Jade Duvall of the home, one son Christopher Langton Garrett and wife, Erin of Jonesville, VA, one granddaughter Ivy Grace Garrett of Jonesville, VA and one grandson Timothy Christopher Adam Garrett of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by great friend and niece Jessica Atencio and her children Devon Freeman of Rose Hill, VA and December Baker of Dryden, VA, Langton’s best friend Michael Dye and fiance, Jacqulin West of Jonesville, VA and a host of other relatives and friends and his best friend and cat, Diamond.
