Clarence Edward Orr

Clarence Edward Orr, age 82, of Pennington Gap, VA, was born April 14, 1938 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away April 18, 2020 at his home. Clarence was a lifelong farmer and loved his critters and farm life. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated a local restaurant. He was also a coal truck driver.

Clarence is preceded in death by his son Jeff Orr, his parents Howard and Hazel Orr and his half brother Roger Crusenberry.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Shirley Orr of the home for 61 years; his daughter Darla Hollyfield and husband Jeff of Kodiak, TN; his son David Scott Orr and wife Kim of Pennington Gap, VA; his grandchildren Matthew Orr, Brandon Hollyfield, Ashley Mays, Natasha Domby, Alexa Mullins, Blake Hollyfiled, Evan Orr, Brittany Perkins, Alex Orr and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Orr Family Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Smyth Chapel United Methodist Church in Pennington Gap, VA. In Lieu of flowers, make donations in his honor to the Smyth Chapel United Methodist Church in Pennington Gap, VA.
