Cynthia Jean McPherson

Cynthia Jean McPherson, age 68, of Rose Hill, VA was born Wednesday, May 30, 1951 in Manchester, NH and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was a loving wife and mother, a devout Christian and member of the Rose Hill First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Cunningham, mother Phyllis Cunningham and a brother James Cunningham. Cynthia is survived by her husband Lee McPherson, daughters Carrie Stooksbury, Stephanie Theis and husband, Mitch, sons Bobby McPherson and wife, Jessica and Robert Hounshell, eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister Pat McCracken and a brother Robert Cunningham.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Rose Hill First Baptist Church with Pastor Carlos Wolfe officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park West in Rose Hill, VA. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Lee McPherson for her headstone. 228 Walker Dr. Rose Hill, VA 24281.
