Eulis “Sam” Sexton, age 94, of Pennington Gap, VA was born on October 8, 1926 and passed away November 23, 2020. Eulis was a life long farmer of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Jonesville Fire Department for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Effie M. Sexton; one infant son, one daughter Fleura “Irene” Head, two brothers Clarence Daley Sexton, and Lonnie Sexton, two sisters Maggie Collins, and Haley Parks, and his parents Thorbin and Lilli Moore Sexton.
Surviving are his two sons Don H. Sexton and wife Mary of Pennignton Gap, Billy W. Sexton of Mongo, Indiana, One daughter Wanda Faye Collins of Jonesville, Virginia. Grandchildren Candy, Melissa, Vicki, Roger, Linda, Tammy, Eulis, and Willard Allen. With several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held at 1PM Friday, November 27, 2020 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45.
